Craft & Cooking Part III

So now I’ve mastered a banana and coconut loaf and some Easter gifts I thought I’d take things to the next level and today I baked a Fruit Cake (using Auntie Shirley’s recipe), some Easter Biscuits (using Netmums recipe) and Jez’s favourite, some Millionnaire’s Shortbread (using the recipe off the Carnation tin) – no photo of the shortbread, as it disappeared too quickly!

Then I made a Mother’s Day card (while Jez helped Charlotte make one for me) out of some lovely crafty bits and bobs.

All in all, it was great fun doing all the baking and it felt lovely offering the cake and biscuits to the family on Mothering Sunday, but there is SO MUCH still left over and we have to eat it all now.

Now look what has happened!
